Job Description
- Prepare ingredients and execute cooking techniques according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in maintaining high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.
- Work collaboratively and communicatively with the kitchen and front of house teams to ensure smooth and efficient service in a positive and harmonious work environment
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the work area and presenting a positive image from our open kitchen
- Assist with inventory management, including proper storage and rotation of ingredients.
- Execute tasks in a timely manner, ensuring that food is prepared and served according to designated schedules.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a cook in a fast-paced restaurant setting is preferred but not a requirement - a positive attitude and willingness to learn is! .
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and a passion for delivering exceptional flavors.
- Ability to work well under pressure and multitask effectively.
- Attention to detail and commitment to upholding high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
- Culinary school training or relevant certifications are a plus.
