Job Description
- Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, and other kitchen equipment using manual and automated cleaning methods.
- Load and unload dishwashing machines, ensuring proper placement and organization of items.
- Hand wash delicate and specialty items that require special care.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, including countertops, sinks, and workstations.
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Dispose of trash and recycling in designated areas.
- Support the kitchen team by assisting in basic food preparation tasks, such as peeling vegetables or stocking ingredients.
- Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation standards at all times.
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure a smooth flow of dishes and utensils throughout service.
- Assist in maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and notifying the management team when replenishment is needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a dishwasher or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
